Coconut Oil
High in lauric fatty acids, which is believed to have antimicrobial properties, coconut oil goes on smooth and makes you happy (just kidding). Coconut oil is a great natural lubricant.
Lanolin
Lanolin is sheep wool fat. It is the main ingredient in most nipple preparations.
Beeswax
Fit for a queen... (and helps thicken it up a bit).
Lemon Essential Oil
Antiseptic and smells good.
Geranium Essential Oil
Geranium is a mild essential oil with antiseptic properties. Also smells good.
Clove Essential Oil
There's just a wee bit of this in Tough Titties Nipple Rub. It adds some nice spice and is slightly analgesic.
Vitamin E
Generally good for your skin and is an antioxidant.

Couldn't I just use straight up lanolin?
Sure you could. I made this product to be less sticky than the typical lanolin sold for this purpose. I wanted something that went on smooth and easy so I made this. Try it, you'll like it.
Do I need to wash it off before nursing?
I get this question a lot - most people are concerned about the essential oils (less than 3 percent of the formula). Basically Tough Titties is like a glorified lip balm (w/ extra lanolin for smoothness). It absorbs rather quickly and doesn't really leave much to wipe off. Conventional wisdom says to apply before nursing - I did this somewhat but generally after feeding or after showering worked best for me. It's all about preventing cracks. I tell my customers to do what they feel is best - to my knowledge and in my personal experience it isn't necessary.
How long will it last?
A little dab will do ya... for a long time.

Apply Tough Titties Nipple Rub to entire nipple area after each feeding or as needed for dry, cracked or just sore nipps.
